90 WNBA Cards, $27, and Three Very Different Predictions | Stay Outta My Fridge
What happens when your daughters discover Walmart has restocked the WNBA trading cards?
Apparently, Dad spends $27.
This week, Matt is joined by Avery and Iyla for a laid-back Sunday Funday in the studio. They've got six packs of 2026 Donruss WNBA cards, 90 total cards, and absolutely no guarantee they're going to pull anything good.
Before the packs get opened, everybody makes a prediction:
Then the packs start flying.
There's a rated-rookie surprise, a Kiki Iriafen jersey-card pull, plenty of player-name improvisation, and a little help from the Collects app to estimate what the cards might be worth.
And because this is Stay Outta My Fridge, we can't just talk about basketball cards.
The family also gets into sleepovers, Roblox, Halloween, scary movies, a bizarre clown encounter at Walmart, bowling, soccer, and whether Dad's retirement plans involve doing absolutely nothing.
The big question: Can a $27 box of WNBA cards actually be worth more than what Matt paid?
By the end, the family estimates their pulls could be worth around $50–$60. Whether anybody actually buys them is another story entirely.
It's cards, laughs, family chaos, and another Sunday in the Beard Laws household.
