The COVID-19 pandemic has changed healthcare forever. We are now all acutely aware of how limited our national hospital bed capacity is, and how hesitant folks are to seek care within facilities experiencing crisis. We also learned that, for the most part, patients prefer receiving hospital-level care within their own homes.
