Playing Cop Turns Deadly: The Hannah Payne Case

Hannah Payne, 21, witnessed a car accident in Clayton County, Georgia on May 7, 2019, and chased down 62-year-old Kenneth Herring, who may have been suffering a diabetic emergency. She blocked his truck, confronted him with a gun, and shot him in the stomach. Herring died. In 2023, Payne was convicted of felony murder.
