RED SOX POSTCAST: Plenty of 2-Out Magic Supports Crochet; Win Streak Reaches 7 Straight

The Red Sox (64-51) clinched a series win over the Kansas City Royals and ran their current win streak to 7 in a row with a 6-2 victory Tuesday night at Fenway Park. With the win, the Sox improved to a season- high 13 games over .500. The Sox have won 10 of 12 overall and are 14-1 over their last 15 at Fenway. Jordan Hicks worked a scoreless 9th to close the win.

Crochet Day: Garrett Crochet won his 13th game of the season and his 2nd versus the Royals in 2025 with another impressive outing Tuesday night. Crochet gave 2 earned runs on 4 hits over 7.0 strong innings. He walked 1 and stuck out 8, including the final 2 batters that he faced in the 7th. Crochet has won 9 straight decisions, and the team is now 16-7 in his 23 starts. Crochet's last loss came on the road at Milwaukee on May 26. The Sox are now 10-1 in his last 11 starts.
