Train to Busan

As we get further into Shocktober, let's take a ride aboard Train to Busan (2016), the South Korean zombie thriller directed by Yeon Sang-ho that delivers everything we love about the genre and so much more. Starring Gong Yoo, Jung Yu-mi, Ma Dong-seok, Kim Su-an, and Choi Woo-shik, this thrilling ride follows passengers aboard a high-speed train as a zombie outbreak spreads across South Korea and the fight for survival begins.

For a zombie flick, it has heart. It also brings new ideas to the genre, and where many fail, Train to Busan brings us to a proper finish. Also, we want to shout-out the performances of the actual zombies and the crew who brought them to life...or death, or whatever they are.

Stick around for a round of trivia after the conversation!

Safe travels, nomads.
