The 1001 History Challenge is a fast and fun history quiz show that uses famous phrases, quotes, expressions and more from yesterday and today and gives you the backstory, saving a few important details for last. Do you know where the expression "Jump The Shark" comes from? Or who said "Damn The Torpedoes, Full Speed Ahead"? Or which comedian's gravestone features the words "There Goes The Neighborhood?". And which movie spawned the phrase "Hasta La Vista, Baby"? We have all the stories. Are you up for the challenge? The 1001 History Challenge is a proud part of the 1001 Stories Podcast Network.
