Candlelight Processional at Epcot: A December Evening of Music and Voices (Binaural Audio)

Join us for a December 2021 evening at Epcot, as we walk from the France Pavilion toward the American Adventure and the Candlelight Processional. We’re hurrying because the performance began just a few minutes earlier, and sounds from Morocco and Japan accompany us along the Promenade.

Inside the theater, the orchestra’s opening piece draws near. We find seats on the left with a good view and discover we haven’t missed much. The Voices of Liberty lead the singing as the choirs process in from the rear. Actor Andy Garcia hosts the evening, and the herald trumpets bring a bright fanfare to the orchestra. Traci and Lou try to place where they know Garcia from, recalling the Ocean’s films; later, he leads a reprise of a song whose title we don’t know. A distant pre-fireworks warning reaches us midway through the performance.

We leave near the end to reach our friends’ saved fireworks spot in front of Canada, so this Memory doesn’t capture the full show. As we hurry around the Promenade through Japan, Morocco, France, and the UK toward Canada, the music lifts with us from one country to the next. You may also hear Lou and the family singing along.
