Phil survived Guadalajara.
Harley has 3 recalls and they all suck:
- Oil Ejection Risk (May 2026): Over 88,000 units (2024–2026 FLTRX, FLHX, FXBR, FLFB, FLHXU, FLTRXL, FLTRT, FLHXL, and FLHLT). A blocked breather port allows crankcase pressure buildup, which can cause oil to spray out, increasing injury risk.
- This is different than the oil sumping problem in early Milwaukee 8 motors that were produced in 2017-2019
- Rear Brake Line Failure (April 2026): Approx. 17,000 Softail motorcycles (2025–2026). The rear brake line may touch the Body Control Module, causing a leak and loss of rear braking.
- Sportster S Upper Triple Clamp (March 2026): 8,498 units (2021–2026) are recalled again due to potential cracking in the upper triple clamp.
