• an excellent run at the World Trail and Mountain Running Championships being the 2nd Irish runner home in the 45km Short Trail Race
• 2nd o45 at the World Masters Mountain Running Championships
• and then going on to win the 045 Title at the National Marathon Championships 2 weeks ago in Dublin in a time 2h26m
• aswell as coaching the new sensation of Irish Athletics, Ava Crean to the Marathon National Senior Title at just 19 years of age
