Erik Cooper is a 40-year-old professional adventurist andpassionate equestrian, originally from a horse farm in the heart ofMiddle America. With a thirst for exploration, Erik has traveled tosome of the world's most remote regions, including Mongolia andPatagonia, where he has cultivated deep, lasting friendships withnomads in Mongolia and remote farm owners in Argentina. Theserelationships form the foundation of his immersive travelexperiences through Erik Cooper Adventures, allowing riders toembark on truly authentic, emotional journeys through theseunique landscapes, connecting with both the people and theanimals that call them home.

In addition to his role as an adventure guide, Erik leadsoperations for The Equestrianists, the UK company behind theworld’s longest and most challenging horse races – the Mongoland Gaucho Derbies. His daily responsibilities include planningraces and academies, interviewing riders, and overseeing allaspects of brand marketing. Through his work, Erik combines hislove for horses, exploration, and adventure with his expertise inoperations, offering unparalleled experiences to equestriansaround the world.
