EVAN "Death of Me" vs. Former Group ENHYPEN "Checkmate" Review

THE KPOPCAST: Evan vs. Enhypen, plus Dimo Rex and MCND hit replays

Stephanie and PD-nim kick off a pre-Hallyuween-themed Kpopcast episode that compares two very different comeback narratives: Evan, formerly Heeseung of Enhypen, stepping out solo with Death of Me, and Enhypen returning with Checkmate after the departure. They also spotlight weekly hit replays from Dimo Rex featuring Camo and MCND’s long-awaited comeback, Devil Youth Club.

The episode is part reaction, part industry-context breakdown, and part fandom speculation about what it means to leave a group, rebrand as a soloist, and still try to satisfy existing fans while making a new artistic identity.
