Luke 23:1–25 describes Jesus being brought before Pontius Pilate, then sent to Herod Antipas, where He is mocked but found without guilt. Despite repeated declarations of His innocence, the crowd demands His crucifixion and insists on the release of Barabbas instead. Under pressure, Pilate yields to their demands, handing Jesus over to be crucified, highlighting both the injustice of the trial and the power of the crowd.
