As we begin this slow walk with Jesus through the last week before his crucifixion, we first join the two unnamed disciples on their way to find the donkey Jesus asked them to retrieve from a local village. Then we encounter the unnamed bystanders and owner who let the donkey go because “the Lord needs it.” Which led to a challenge: what “donkey” is Jesus asking of us?
This Easter sermon series will take us on a powerful journey through the final week of Jesus' life, leading up to His crucifixion and resurrection. Each sermon will highlight significant moments and themes from Jesus' last days, providing deep insights into His sacrifice, teachings, and the fulfillment of God's redemptive plan. Throughout this series, we will reflect on the profound love, grace, and sacrifice that marked Jesus' final week on earth, encouraging us to live in light of His finished work and the eternal hope His resurrection brings.
