Show Notes: We welcome living kidney donor Hayley Slaughter to discuss thriving after living donation. Guided by a desire to donate to help others since childhood, Hayley gave the gift of a kidney in June 2022 to a veteran she had never met. Hayley, a mother of three, a military spouse and now, DOVE Transplant Outreach Coordinator, demonstrates that life with one kidney is just as rich, active and fulfilling. In our Mental Health Moment, our hosts discuss post-traumatic growth and workshop tactics for growing in a positive direction. Then, we honor our donor hero, Collin Gallegos.
