Malishka spoke to Neha Singh, who was part of the Why Loiter movement that began in Mumbai in 2014, to understand the idea behind reclaiming public spaces and the larger thought behind the Walk for Women. Ahead of the October 2 walk, the conversation explored why women should be able to walk, sit, travel, meet friends or simply spend time in public spaces without fear or judgement.
