About Ian Birrell:

Ian grew up in Anstruther, Scotland, and won the club championship at St Andrews at 17. Now he spends winters teaching skiing in Mammoth Lakes, California, and summers at the golf courses there. In this episode, we cover golf at 8,000 feet, the Rally from Death Valley to Sierra Star, the Mammoth Open, and the copy of TGJ that got him through his toughest times.
