In a culture that often applauds charisma, influence, and platform, we can easily overlook the quiet power of simply being present. Yet presence is exactly what made Titus so valuable in the early church.

On Sunday, we explored the life of Titus—a loyal friend, a steady leader, and one of the unsung heroes of the New Testament. The apostle Paul didn't commend him for dramatic miracles or dynamic speaking, but for something rare and deeply impactful: he showed up. When others walked away, Titus stayed. When challenges surfaced, he leaned in. His faithful presence brought comfort, courage, and strength to Paul and to the early church.

Special guest speaker, Dr. Chris Palmer, Dean of the Barnett College School of Ministry and Theology at Southeastern University, continued our sermon series Saints Like Us with a powerful message called Titus: The Gift of Showing Up. Through his story, we're reminded that faithfulness doesn't need to be loud to be life-changing. God works through ordinary people who consistently show up—and through that kind of presence, lives are changed. You don't have to be famous to be faithful.
