SEASON OPENER: Did Detroit Pistons Rookie Ebuka Okorie Do ENOUGH To Crack Rotation In Preseason?

Detroit Pistons wrap up preseason with breakout performances and tough rotation decisions looming. Has rookie Ebuka Okorie done enough to seize the backup point guard spot from Daniss Jenkins? Ku Khahil and Matt Griffin debate Okorie’s shot creation, advanced handle, and impact compared to Jenkins’ efficiency and experience, while analyzing Jalen Duren’s evolving offensive game and Ausar Thompson’s encouraging progress as a playmaker.

Key topics include the Pistons’ improved offensive flow, Cade Cunningham’s off-ball opportunities, and J.B. Bickerstaff’s revealing comments ahead of the season opener vs. the Boston Celtics. The hosts break down preseason performances, discuss possible lineup shifts, and preview how Detroit’s young core will be tested by Boston’s stifling defense and new additions.
