How do we read the stories of the Qur’an and make them our stories? In the Qur’an, nothing is repeated in vain. The story of Banu Isrāʾīl appears again and again, and Prophet Mūsā (ʿalayhi al-salām) is the most frequently mentioned prophet. These accounts are not presented as a single, linear history. They repeat across different sūrahs, each time from a new angle, highlighting a different lesson for us to learn. This series explores the narratives of Banu Isrāʾīl in the Qur’an and what they reveal about our own condition today.
