Warfare Wednesday (August 2025)/God-sent Helper/Pastor Femi Paul

At our Warfare Wednesday Service, Pastor Femi delivered a stirring exhortation titled GOD-SENT HELPER, drawing from Isaiah 50:7 and 2 Samuel 9. He began by unpacking the idea that a “God-sent” helper is not just any support but a timely, divinely orchestrated lifeline that shows up when human effort reaches its limit. Using David’s encounter with Mephibosheth as a vivid illustration, PFP reminded us that even in barren places like Lo Debar - the symbolic land of dryness, delay and obscurity - God's kindness can find you, lift you, and restore all that was lost. He asked a piercing question: Can you even recognise your helper? Because sometimes, divine help looks ordinary, and other times, it may be delayed by unseen battles. PFP led the church into warfare prayers, declaring that in this month of August, God will send the particular help we need, not just help in general, but help that aligns with our purpose, healing and restoration. Expect to be remembered, restored, and repositioned at the King’s table.
