19 | Daniel Holtzclaw: Rosetta Grate Allegations

Bates Investigates, Season One, "In Defense of Daniel Holtzclaw." Episode 19: Rosetta Grate Allegations.

Investigative Timeline - August 27, 2014: In this episode, Oklahoma City patrol officer Daniel Holtzclaw has been sitting in the Oklahoma County Jail with a $5-million bond for about a week. Oklahoma City Sex Crimes Detectives Kim Davis and Valarie Homan locate another potential victim on their infamous "list." That individual is identified as 38-year old Rosetta Grate.

In this episode, you will hear the actual audio from Grate's two jailhouse interviews with detectives. This episode is long at over an hour and the audio echoes and can be hard to understand (recorded in a small cinderblock room). This episode was posted for transparency. You can skip this issue if you choose, as I will be dissecting it and playing relevant portions in episode 20.
