2267 - We draft the second and third rounds for 2027

Fantasy Baseball Live – October 17, 2026Microsoft Teams:Segments 1 and 2 – Review playoff gamesThe Brewers sweep the Dodgers.1.WOW…Just WOW.2.I’ve read a bunch of articles about the Dodgers need to make changes, etc to compete. Do you think they do?a.They did win 100 games and their best player was hurt.b.But, after Skubal, their great pitching just didn’t get it done. Yamamoto lasted only 2.2 innings and 75 pitches including a 12-pitch at-bat with Jake Bauers that did him in. Blake Snell was ok, but still gave up 4 earned runs in 6 innings (3 HR), and Glasnow 4 ER in 4.1 innings. Was it the Yamamoto outing that changed the tide?c.The hitting also failed – Ohtani hit .192 but did hit a home run in game 4. Freddie Freeman hit .192, Will Smith hit .097, Teoscar - .200, Betts .207 and Max Muncy was platooned. d.Let’s face it, they are an older team most of their players are on long-term contracts. There’s an old saying that was penned by Earnest Hemmingway in 1926 in the Sun Also Rises. Mike Campbell was asked how he went bankrupt. He answered – gradually, and then suddenly. It’s just the way it is.e.They do have incredible talent on the farm. It’ll be interesting to see what they do in their return – no changes, promote the kids, or add some veterans. What do you think?Rays vs. Guardians – Guards 2-1•The Rays haven’t been able to score and the Guardians have done just enough.•Are you surprised?•How does this end?World SeriesoTB/Cle vs. Brewers – Yes, the Brewers continue as the home teamoWho when’s and in how many games?Segments 3 and 4 – Let’s keep drafting•These are our picks so far…second and third round if possible.1Pete Crow Armstrong2Elly De La Cruz3Bobby Witt Jr.4Jacob Misiorowski5Shohei Ohtani6Junior Caminero7Jackson Chourio8Juan Soto9James Wood10Tarik Skubal11Fernando Tatis Jr.12Yordan Alvarez13Corbin Carroll14Julio Rodriguez15Cam Schlitter16Ronald Acuna Jr.17CJ Abrams18Aaron Judge19Nick Kurtz20Konnor Griffin21Ben Rice22Jackson Merrill23Matt Olson24Yoshinobu Yamamoto25Dylan Cease26Jordan Walker27Cristopher Sanchez28Pete Alonso29Miguel Vargas30Gavin Williams31Kyle Schwarber32Mason Miller33Paul Skenes34Gunnar Henderson35Cade Smith36Jose Ramirez37Sal Stewart38Jhoan Duran39Josh Hader40Francisco Lindor41Louis Varland42Chase Burns43Wyatt Langford44Logan Gilbert45Randy Aronzareno
