December 2nd: God Always Keeps His Promises | Devotional for Kids Carpooling with Jesus Kids Devotional

Hey Carpool Crew, this week we’re talking about hope as we travel through Advent toward Christmas! 🌟 I’m Pastor Justin, and today we’re looking at one of God’s earliest promises — the one He made to Abraham.

Our verse is Genesis 12:1–3 (CSB): “I will make you into a great nation... and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” God told Abraham that his family would grow and one day bless the whole world. And guess what? That promise came true when Jesus was born through Abraham’s family line! From the very beginning of the Bible, God was already planning Christmas.

If Jesus were sitting beside you today, I think He’d say, “When I make a promise, I keep it.” God’s promises never fail, and we can trust Him completely. When we keep our own promises — even small ones — we show others what God’s faithfulness looks like.
