FWIE X Met Office: Climate, space weather, shipping forecast and the importance of meteorology, with Alex Burkill

In late 2025, For What It's Earth visited the ICONIC Met Office in Exeter!

Join us for a walking tour of the Met Office with meteorologist and presenter Alex Burkill, during which we meet space weather expert Rebecca and shipping forecast maestro Craig.

In late 2025, we spent the day speaking with meteorologists and experts about what this iconic institution does as a powerhouse of weather data analysis and science communication, and also to explore how climate change is impacting the weather we experience every day.
