Emily M. N. Kugler is an Associate Professor at Howard University whose work bridges 18th-century literature, digital humanities, and Black and LGBTQ+ studies. Her groundbreaking research focuses on slavery, empire, and gender, while leading important digital projects on women in abolitionist movements.
