Miguel Vargas, Luis Robert Jr., and Sean Burke find redemption in Chicago White Sox victory

Three players vital to the team's short-term and long-term success had impressive performances in the Chicago White Sox 8-0 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers. Miguel Vargas continues to be on a heater, Luis Robert Jr. drove in four runs and prevented four runs with an amazing grand-slam robbing catch, and pitcher Sean Burke was impressive like his four-game cameo last season and his Opening Day start.

Then rookie infielder Chase Meidroth has returned from the 10-day IL at the best time possible. Finally, Jake Burger's demotion by the Texas Rangers still does not mean the White Sox didn't lose the 2023 midseason trade with the Miami Marlins. It is another example of what the team should be doing with Andrew Vaughn, who is struggling worse than Burger.
