Barely a year ago, Paul Newman retired as Chief Cricket Writer at the Daily Mail, but now he is back writing for The Athletic, as the American publication expands its reach into cricket.

As Paul's first article gets published, I had a catch up with him to discuss his new adventure and look forward to the first Test between England and India which gets underway on Friday at Headlngley.
