ROOKIE RAKE: Kurtz & Thomas Go Yard as A’s Dominate 10-3

The A’s put on a complete performance in a 10-3 win over the Angels, powered by strong pitching and explosive offense. Jack Perkins set the tone early with five solid innings, racking up seven strikeouts while keeping the Angels in check. After Colby Thomas launched a three-run homer in the third, the A’s offense never looked back, giving Perkins the cushion he needed. 

The big blow came late, when rookie sensation Nick Kurtz crushed a three-run bomb in the eighth to put the game out of reach. Shea Langeliers also went deep, while Brent Rooker and Darell Hernaiz chipped in with key hits. The bullpen locked things down, highlighted by clean innings from Michael Kelly, Justin Sterner, Elvis Alvarado, and Ben Bowden. It was a statement win—young bats mashing, pitchers executing, and the A’s proving once again they’re not a team to overlook.
