You Can’t Hold Others Until You’ve Held Yourself

When you step onto the path of service as a healer, space holder, or practitioner, there’s one truth that always returns:

You cannot hold others until you’ve learned to hold yourself.

This episode was recorded live at our Body Transformation Retreat in Bali, an integral part of the Tantra Practitioner Training. Inside this space, we don’t just teach tools. We break open. We feel. We remember. Because real service begins with what we are willing to face within ourselves.

In this intimate clip, Chantelle Raven shares her own unraveling. A lived experience of chronic inflammation, stored rage, dissociation, and trauma. She speaks to the parts of the healing journey that are rarely named. The ones that don’t look good on paper. The ones that bring us to our knees so we can finally stop performing and start embodying what we teach.

This is not about getting it all right. It’s about getting real. About learning to stay present in the discomfort you used to run from. About trusting your body enough to let it lead.

In this episode:

  • How symptoms become teachers when we stop labeling them as blocks
  • What it actually means to serve from soul instead of strategy
  • Why spiritual tools can become bypass when truth is avoided
  • Understanding the role of freeze, collapse, and dissociation
  • The body as a temple of unresolved grief, ancestral rage, and power
  • Gut and liver as storage sites for truth that never had permission
  • Why being embodied is not a performance but a felt experience
  • What qualifies someone to serve others from integrity, not image

This is for the woman who knows she’s here to guide others but still feels there’s something unfinished within her.

For the practitioner who no longer wants to serve from performance but from presence.

For the soul who is ready to let go of image and remember that the real work begins inside.

“You don’t get to bypass the parts of you you’re afraid to feel. Not if you want to hold others in theirs.”“The body knows when you’re performing safety. The body knows when you’re faking presence.”“You want to be of service? Start by feeling the thing you keep skipping.”
