Come one, come all, to this tragic affair, and subscribe here for the best music show in your podcast library. Hosted by Blake Murphy and Jake Goldsbie, Columbia House Party is your home for Riots and Black Parades, Cork Trees and Significant Others. At times it will showcase the very finest the music industry had to offer, often around the pop-punk and emo boom of the early-to-mid 2000s. At its worst, it will indulge in those forgotten records we all have lurking in our collection. All the while, it promises to provide the information, entertainment and self-deprecation you’ve come to expect from two of Toronto’s favourites. Welcome to our living mixtape.

Word In Your Ear
Word In Your Ear
Mark Ellen and David Hepworth have been talking about and writing about music together and individually for a collective eighty years in magazines like Smash Hits, Mojo and The Word and on radio and TV programmes like "Rock On", "Whistle Test" and VH-1.Over thirteen years ago, when working on the late magazine The Word, they began producing podcasts. Some listeners have been kind enough to say these have been very special to them. When the magazine folded in 2012 they kept the spirit of those podcasts alive in regular Word In Your Ear evenings in which they spoke to musicians and authors in front of an audience. Over these years they've produced hundreds of hours of material. As of the Current Unpleasantness of 2020, they've produced yet hundreds of hours more with a little help from guests kind enough to digitally show them around their attics such as Danny Baker, Andy Partridge, Sir Tim Rice and Mark Lewisohn. blankSLATE with SaVon
blankSLATE with SaVon
A reintroduction. blankSLATE is what comes next for SaVon, a clean canvas to reveal a voice he hasn't fully shown yet. A culture and music commentary podcast going past the headline and past the algorithm to find a different lens on media, music, and everything happening within the culture. A return to the kind of podcasting that built the format, before the clip economy reduced every show to a moment. Two shows. One name. The signature show drops weekly. Long-form episodes with rotating voices, slowing the headline down to read the fine print — bringing a lens the algorithm trains you to ignore. "blankSLATE Radio" is the real-time companion, SaVon solo, reacting to the moment with the kind of perspective the lane is missing, shaped by the audience through mailbag submissions. For people who want more than a hot take.
