The horse can not hold its breath and can sleep while standing up! How did horses evolve such powerful kicks? We learn about the history of horse domestication and extinction in the family Equidae. There were once 12 species of horses living at the same time, but today we only have 1 surviving species. The only truly wild horses live in Kazakhstan.
