Radical Responsibility For Your Peace (And Why It's Always Worth It)
Recently, while coaching, a pattern started to show up. The moms I talked to felt stuck, frustrated, or exhausted.
They were waiting on someone else to do something different so they could finally feel better.
And I kept finding myself thinking: You're giving all your power away!
Not in judgement, but in love. Because I've done it too.
When peace feels out of reach, it's almost always because we're outsourcing it.
We believe it depends on our kids' moods, our partner's habits, or someone else's approval. We're hoping someone else will say the right thing, change their behavior, make it easier.
But the truth is, peace doesn't come from other people getting it right. It comes when we take radical responsibility for how we think, feel and show up.

And if taking radical respoinsibility feels like a lot, just start small. Notice one story where you're waiting on someone else to make you feel better. Then ask: What's one way I can take my power back in this moment?
