341. Business As Usual

Lured Up Podcast 341

We haven’t dug into the news in a few weeks so on this episode we build out the calendar into April and prep for some pretty great event lineups. The game has really hit a stride in providing event and gameplay loops across their different mechanics. The April calendar is as packed as any previous month we have seen, and the onslaught of events doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all.

With GO Fest right around the corner, we might be expecting the calm before the storm, but if April is any indication of the event pacing, we may not see a break in the action at all. A plethora of different events closed out March and will welcome us into April. With Sizzlepede releasing with the Bug Out and both Mega Audino and GMAX Snorlax on the horizon, we are getting plenty of debuts to serve as the carrot at the end of the stick.

Circling back on the Niantic/Scopely conversation, we attended another meeting with Niantic to ask more questions about the deal. With every answer driving home the fact that things will be business as usual, we will continue to be cautiously optimistic until there is reason to think differently.
