Hey everybody! We're back with Episode 5: Cellular Respiration - How your body uses oxygen to make the energy you need. In this episode, we break down the topic of aerobic cellular respiration in detail and discuss how this process works to take the food molecules you eat to produce ATP (adenosine triphosphate), the energy molecule of the cell. We also examine how changes in your body can affect this process, from holding your breath to rigorous exercise. We even touch on the role of lactic acid production in muscle cells and what is really happening as your body is making this material.
