Episode 233 - Is GameStop Taking Advantage of Gamers?
In this episode...--> Xbox's new CEO Asha Sharma claims the company is bouncing back from an all-time low, but is there any reason to believe her? Despite boasting improved public sentiment and a return to growth, Sharma offered no supporting figures, while layoffs continue and uncertainty surrounds the company's future.
--> Would you pay $1,400 for a used PS5 Pro? GameStop has reportedly raised prices on pre-owned consoles to $500 above retail, with third-party resellers following suit. High demand ahead of GTA 6 and ongoing component shortages may be driving the price surge.--> What could possibly go wrong when Sega launches an official Sonic the Hedgehog Discord server? Within hours of opening, the server attracted over 50,000 users and was flooded with spam and inappropriate comments, forcing moderators to lock chats and impose strict restrictions. Because apparently, Sonic fans can't be trusted to behave themselves.--> Also: Top 3 New Releases, Very Important Poll
