I Think, Therefore I Ken

On today's episode, we sat down with Ken (@ithinkiken) at the Proud Bird near LAX. We began with the origin story of the On Time Podcast and his time as the producer. We all started our journey as friends and a lot of our collective knowledge of watches and the watch industry through our membership of the LA Watch Gang. As the gang disbanded from organized hosting, many have joined up with other organizations or transitioned to micro gtgs. Here in southern California, we are spoiled for choices. Ken described the hype nature of everyone chasing the same handful of watches and was honest about being priced out of the market, but not before he nabbed a Royal Oak Jumbo(15202) late in 2017. Ken has a love for IWC, and the brand experience has contributed in many ways to that connection. He is no longer accumulating watches, but still has a strong connection to the pieces in his collection, although he admits that he may wear the same watch for a month at a time since working from home.
