N.A.P.S., the North American Producer Showcase, has become an annual tradition on the Best Drum and Bass Podcast and one of my favorite ways to shine a light on the talent coming out of this side of the world.
This project is built around one simple idea: 100% North American producers, all in one place, with the full range of drum and bass represented. From legends and longtime scene staples to newer names pushing fresh sounds forward, N.A.P.S. is a reminder that North America has always had its own voice in drum and bass, and that voice keeps getting stronger every year.
For this year’s edition, the mix is handled by NOX, a DJ who has been one of the most vocal and consistent supporters of North American drum and bass. Across an hour and ten minutes, NOX takes the showcase through a massive selection of artists, eras, and styles, connecting the roots of the scene with the current wave of producers carrying it forward.
This is not just a mix packed with North American names. It is a snapshot of the energy, history, and range of the scene over here. Big respect to every artist included, and to everyone who continues to support NADNB year after year.
