The San Diego Padres scored 5 runs in the top of the 11th inning, ending a long game full of comebacks by both teams with a 10 to 5 win over the Arizona Diamondbacks even this 3-game series at a game apiece, with the finale tomorrow in Phoenix.

Ramon Laureano had 3 hits & 3 RBI, giving him 8 & 5 in his 1st 5 games as a Padre.

Jake Cronenworth came up big with 2 hits, 2 RBI & 2 runs scored. Manny Machado added 3 hits and scored twice.

Closer Robert Suarez- MLB’s saves leader- pitched out of trouble in the 9th & 10th innings to pick up the win.

Lourdes Gurriel Jr. hit a pair of 2-run homers with 2 outs. He is 4-9 with 6 RBI’s in the 1st 2 games of this series.

The Pads remain 3 games behind the LA Dodgers in the NL West, and are now tied with the NY Mets in 2nd place in the NL Wild Card race, 2.5 games behind the Chicago Cubs.
