The Cardinals currently have a 14 percent chance of making the playoffs? If they fall short--with attendance now about to fall below three million for the season for the first time in nearly two decades--the question has to be asked: Will John Mozeliak fall on his sword if they fall short? Won't he have to? Won't somebody? Bernie Miklasz and Will Leitch try to war game out the scenarios in what sure feels like a very pivotal month-and-a-half in Cardinals history.
